- 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, cold
- 2 oz (56g) semi sweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 tbsp (24g) granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp (13g) light brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1⁄2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1⁄4 cup (30g) all purpose flour
- 2 tbsp (10g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1⁄8 tsp baking powder
- 1⁄8 tsp salt
- 1-2 tbsp semi sweet chocolate chips
- Pinch of flaky sea salt

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter and 2 oz dark chocolate together in the microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Whisk the granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla into the chocolate mixture until smooth and glossy.
- Add in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold gently until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough for 5-10 minutes.
- Form into a puck on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes, until the edges are set and the top is shiny and crackly.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt immediately after baking.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
